  1. I TOTALLY want to read this aloud to a group of kids There s a great participation element to this and I think it would go over well.

  2. I would like to put a hex upon whichever editor designer whoever decided to put holes into the front cover Books wear out fast enough without creating issues, and even though the holes do bring on the first Boo joke when opened the letters O in Boo turn into an alligator s eyes , the fun of that isn t toddler proof. That aside, this would be a nice story time book, with the kids joining in on each boo, and the elephants fear mice, is an old joke, but it works well as an ending This is art with t [...]

  3. Starting with the tiny mouse, each successively bigger animal claims to be the bravest animal But each larger animal scares the smaller one away until the largest animal of all the elephant, not the whale is scared away by the tiny mouse.

  13. The little mouse that features on the cover of the book is adamant that he isn t scared of anything but we can see an black, menacing figure behind him When the page is turned the figure is seen to be that of an owl who says Boo and frightens the little mouse It is then the owl s turn to boast of his bravery but once again there is a menacing figure in the background After a series of bigger and bigger animals we see the elephant surely he isn t afraid of anything The illustrations are bright an [...]

  14. I enjoyed this little book It s cute how each animal think it is the bravest and can scare other animals, only to be scared by other animals The ending is going to have little ones laughing I can t say too much about the illustrations as I only have a very basic Kindle and it s only b w, but from what I could see, the animal look pretty simply drawn for easy recognition I am sure the colors are bright, but will have to wait and see the hard copy next year At that point, I ll need to order a copy [...]
